Kong Back-Up ANSI w/ Auto Block Carabiner

The BACK-UP is a fall arrester for a flexible anchor line developed for work at height fall protection systems.
Ideal for systems using a 10.5mm or 11mm EN1891 type A line.
Employing a toothless mechanism to reduce possible damage to the rope, this device is one of the least aggressive on the market for textile ropes .
Supplied with an OVALONE CARBON connector, it can even be used without a lanyard or energy absorber.
It features a selector lever that allows you to choose between two modes of use:

free sliding along the rope in both directions
upward sliding only, which allows the user to reduce the fall factor.

It may also be used as an ascender or as a rope clamp for rescue systems.

Also available in BACK-UP ANSI version.
Supplied with an OVALONE CARBON ANSI connector, this version also complies with ANSI Z359.15. A special lanyard with fall indicator is also included in the package .

Return Policy

We offer free return shipping on returnable items within 90 days of being delivered.
No returns can be accepted for life safety gear (i.e. hardware, helmets, harnesses, rope, etc) for the sake of quality control of critical components of our customers' safety.
To initiate a qualifying return, email info@elevatedclimbing.com with your order number and item you are looking to return.
Refunds are offered for the item(s) being returned, and do not include the initial shipping cost of the order, as the service of shipping has already been rendered.
