Same Suunto accuracy at a more modest price. Focusable eyepiece; sturdy plastic case with neck cord. Accurate to 1/2 degree, and it floats. 1.8 oz. (50g)
Better than the Aluminum version

I used to repair both suunto compasses and clinos years ago. I was thrilled to death when they released these, because they help solve an age old problem: with time, the jeweled bearing inside all of these units gets distorted, and they stop working correctly. They also get bubbles in them, ruining thier precision. Keeping them close to room temperature as much as possible helps extend thier lifetimes greatly. The aluminum housing can compound this problem in circumstances like leaving your instrumants in a hot car. The plastic housing handles this much better (but you should never, ever do that) Plus, it's cheaper. I wish they made clinos this same way...
